Chitipa
Chakhutupa village:
This homestaed has many structured that are beautifuly painted with interesting designs and vivid colors.
Nakasale village:
This home is constructed of sun dried bricks and has some geometric paintings along the base and around the door.
Muwanga village:
A simple structure constructed of burnt brick and plastered over. A small decorative band is at the base.
Kabomolo village:
This homehas a verandah all around it and has an unique detail where the verandah by the door is carved out and sloped.
Kabomolo village:
This home is covered with painted decorations. From the geometric band to flowers all over the wall.
Iuluma village:
Very simple home built with burnt bricks and plastered over.
Iulama village:
Burnt brick structure that has a solid base with decorative patterns. The roof structures are gum poles.
Simwenya village:
The home has a small verandah that stretched the entire length. An interesting detail is the end of the kitchen, on top of the wall is a pattern of bamboo that allows smoke out.
Nakasale village:
This homestead has asimple and a round kitchen with wood supports.

Solola village:
This home is constructed of mud on a wood pole frame tied together with sisal. The door is made from reeds. The roof is wood poles connected with tire straps.
